Chicken Barbeque Fettuccine

Soy, oyster, and of course barbeque sauce and Italian mix herbs never go wrong when we pair it with pasta

This is my typical comfort food when I wanna eat something that tastes soo good but with money, time, and power constraint a.k.a when I’m in a lazy mode. Barbeque sauce, instant, you really can pair with so many things even just with your leftover food. It’s up to you if you wanna make your own barbeque sauce, but I’m a lazy boy really hahaa. You can use any protein you like, but I stand with chicken breast since it’s my favorite and has less fat. At first, I got this idea when I usually bought pre-marinade chicken with barbeque sauce for any lazy meal I wanna make. Since I always have pasta in my pantry, why don't I pair it? I add soy sauce, sweet soy sauce (kecap manis), and paprika to make this marinade more complex in flavor. I know this idea from many barbequed food contents I watch every single day, yeah most of my content intake is food content :’). You’ll taste mostly the sweetness from sweet soy sauce, barbeque sauce as well as onions and garlic, and also umaminess from the soy sauce. For sure, you can add chili powder or chili sauce to make it spicy, just adjust with your preferences or make more pre-marinated chicken for another usage.

chicken breast, diced in medium size (1-1.5 cm wide)2
instant barbeque sauce2 tbsp
oyster sauce2 tbsp
vegetables oil (or any neutral oil)2 tbsp
paprika powder3 tsp
soy sauce2 tbsp
sweet soy sauce (kecap manis), use honey or sugar if you don't have it1 tbsp
italian dry mix herbs, use dry oregano or another mix herbs you like2 tbsp
curry powder2 tsp
garlic, finely chopped4 cloves
fresh milk4 tbsp
onion, slice to long strips 1 cm wide1
dry instant fettuccine pasta200 gr
chili sauce1 tbsp
Salt and pepper, to taste
Coriander leaves, finely chopped to serve
Grated parmesan cheese, as you want
